A digital assistant intelligently responds to “Hey, Mercedes” and learns your preferences and your voice over time.

The GLS steering wheel comes in standard, sport, or wood/leather wrapping and has all your audio, cruise, and infotainment controls intuitively placed. Your infotainment system, powered by MBUX and aided by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offers wireless connectivity and hands-free operations. In-vehicle Wi-Fi and the Mercedes Me app keep you connected. You can also unlock certain features using your smartphone.

There is an expansive sunroof and a 64-color ambient lighting system that sets the mood. The GLS also includes an ionized air purification system that allows you to subtly infuse the cabin with fragrance, creating a soothing space for everyone.

Upholstery options, available in various colors and patterns, range from upscale synthetic material to ultra-premium leather to give you exceptional comfort. Front-row heated and ventilated seats deliver premium comfort. Available options include massaging seats, heated armrests, and a five-zone climate control system. The optional Executive Rear Seating Package PLUS, available in the GLS 580, adds ventilation and massage capabilities in the second-row seats and headrest pillows. Mercedes-Benz created the GLS as an SUV rather than adapting it from a pickup truck like other manufacturers. An independent air suspension system delivers smooth ride quality to all three rows. The second row has power-operated seats. Bench seating fits three people, or you can opt for captain’s chairs that seat two and have a walk-through space to access the third row.

Three customization levels are available.

MANUFAKTUR

This entry-level customization plan includes premium exterior paints in various finishes. Inside, you’ll find Nappa leather upholstery and exclusive materials without added production time.

MANUFAKTUR Signature

This plan includes more premium exterior colors and finishes, along with additional interior upholstery and trim options. You’ll also get a MANUFAKTUR badge in the center console and label stitching on the rear window shelf. These customizations don’t increase production time.

MANUFAKTUR Custom

The Custom plan lets you customize more elements in your Mercedes-Benz GLS using a more comprehensive range of exceptional materials. You’ll have access to exclusive colors and enjoy the handcrafted, refined interior you deserve, complete with the MANUFAKTUR badging and label stitching. Since these builds require individual processing, MANUFAKTUR Custom plans require additional production time.

You can choose between readily available MANUFAKTUR and MANUFAKTUR Signature orders or create a highly customized order to your precise specifications. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an approximate timeline for production and delivery of your unique GLS.

Mercedes-Benz offers its GLS SUV in two attractive trims. The GLS 450 4MATIC® starts at $89,200, and the GLS 580 4MATIC® is $114,800 before add-ons.
